Now, I know these are poor photos, but this is my one remaing P. glauca, a pretty rare species in the trade. You can see be the size of the umbilicus and the very rounded shell that he is quite different to most common apple snails.

in Germany are relatively easy to find.

I did hope to breed them, but nothing came of it. It would be great to get more of them in culture over a wider area.

I wonder if Kevin had any luck?
