Hi I`ve just got my first elephant snails I saw them in pfk and just had to get some. I got mine from snail shop, what excellent service! what other fascinating snails are there that you would recommend keeping?

I always got an excellent service from the Snail shop & some months ago I bought some Apple, Nerite Snails & now Assassin Snails. I also read the PFK & I'm really interested in the Elephant snails, but at the moment don't have space.

What snails have you kept, apart from the Elephant?.

i started of with the usual plant stow away
and then 6 months ago i saw some assassins in my lfs so i got them to keep on top of the stow aways.
I always thought a snail was a snail until i came across the elephant snails and i would like to find out more .
I like things that are different and have the wow factor as i love to see visitors faces when they look
in my tanks and see such strange and wonderful creatures.

You can also keep some Nerite Snails, as that eat most of the Algae & are quite interesting. Smile
