| I have a small Cherry Shrimp tank & they reproduce regularly. I've just got a good culture of Daphnia & would like to know if I can add the Daphnia in the Cherry Shrimp tank. Do the Cherries harm the Daphnia or the other way round?.
Thanks alot. | |

| As the Cherries aren't filter feeders, they should be fine with the Daphnia. I dont think they will predate on them, they are mainly scavengers and just pick at food, they dont hunt it. Hope this helps. | |

| Thanks alot for your reply. The Cherries look fine, but there's not much Daphnia left. I was told that they only live for a few days & there might be some eggs, which will hatch........ I don't think & never saw any Cherries eating Daphnia, so they're not the culprits. | |
