| Welcome! You have some very nice shrimp, and I love your kribs . Do you find your Macrobrachium eat dwarf shrimp? I see larger Macrobrachium all the time and am always tempted to get some, but fear for my cherry and 'rainbow' shrimp. | |

I keep macros with red cherries no problem, i think they are too fast for them. | |

| Hi Three Fingers. When I got the Macrobrachium I could find out very little info on them, but a few people told me I would end up with only one as they are always fighting and that they woudl take other shrimp or small fish, But so far fingers crossed they have not fought, to my knowledge and the young have grown up in the same tank with no problems. I do have the tank full of bog wood and java moss so there are plenty of hiding places. I added some endler fry to see if they woudl get eaten, they didn't and grew up happily. I also heard the macro were great snail eaters, but the MTS have survived and multiplied into huge numbers so I aded a few assissin snails :-) I have never tried them with dwarf shrimp, but it would be worth an experiemtn unless anyone else here has had a bad experience? I would love to get some more long-arm shrimp, but they are hard to come by here Daragh | |
